Here are a few must have Windows PC software applications for any beginning student of Koine - New Testament - Greek. These tools helped me immensely when I began my undergraduate Greek studies. I still use them to this day to constantly reinforce the basics. I personally prefer these space friendly software applications to a box full of thousands of cardboard flash cards … or the endless miles of paradigm charts I used to have Scotch-taped to my study wall.
Headthirst’s QuickMem Greek: QuickMem Greek’s word lists are based on Bruce M. Metzger’s Lexical Aids for Students of New Testament Greek.
Teknia Language Tools (ParseWorks): Teknia’s ParseWorks helps you practice parsing the parsing exercises from Bill Mounce’s, The Basics of Biblical Greek.
Enjoy! Stay at it! Reading the New Testament in it’s original language takes years to achieve, but it is very much worth the time and energy. So, keep working at it!
