1000 Wells

Bank of America’s Jim DuBois and some dult on guitar show the world how to utterly ruin the honest and pure message of one of our most beautiful and poignant songs. I hope Bono and the rest of the guys in U2 actually find a way to to sue these idiots and give some of their precious and celebrated money to one of the many countries choked by debt. I don’t think I have ever witnessed a more disgusting display of the blatant bastardization of someone’s artistic work. Great job Bank of America and Jim DuBois! What in the world were you thinking! Seriously! It’s a U2 song! What a bunch of tools. I’m telling you, rolling what little money I have into a ball and shoving it under my mattress for safe-keeping is beginning to sound like a great alternative to these sorts of banks.

  1. I didn’t think it would be such a big deal when I clicked on the link, but how horrifying. I couldn’t even finish listening to it. If the corporation is a person, it has truly lost its mind. “One spirit?” *shudder*

  2. “… we’ve got Bank One … on the run … what’s in your wallet … it’s not Capital One.”

  4. I put it up because it is an awful travesty. I love that song. What they did to it was wrong on about 10 different levels. Bono works hard to help countries crippled by debt, and a big Bank uses his song in this fashion. Seriously, he has got to be mad. I would be …

  5. PS: By the time Axl Rose releases a new song there will be no more banks.
