Thank you, Wess. Thanks for the encouraging words. They are appreciated. Yeah, I'll be very, very happy to be doing something other than fulfilling academic requirements, schedules, and reading lists. I love all of these things, but I'm ready to do something more relational in the city. Too, I'm ready to take back my schedule and read whatever I feel like reading on any given day! I'm pretty sure you know exactly what I mean! :)

That said, I'm still learning ... In fact, I'm sure it was during this last semester that I finally found a good theological landing spot that goes beyond the so-called "right" (where I began my journey) and the "left" (where I was in the middle of the journey when I 'met' you in the blogosphere). I bounced back and forth trying to live in one or the other, but it just can't be done! So, I'm going beyond them both, while strategically cutting and pasting the good from each. The BIC (Brethren in Christ) really goes beyond it all. Too, the voices (all of them) present in the Emerging/Emergent conversation really helped me get to this "place." You were one of them, so thanks much!

So, it's time to celebrate! :)
