Christopher Hitchens: Karl Rove is an atheist. I think it’s safe to say at this point that fundamentalist Christians have been seriously duped and cheaply used by this administration and its brain. Hat tip: Telic Thoughts. Extra reading: Jeremiah 2:19-25.

  1. Doesn’t surprise me at all. In my opinion, religion’s involvement in politics is that of whore. Seriously, religion has no place in politics. It’s never accurately represented and is more often than not a means to a political end.

  2. Ben G., right on, brother. Christianity has been used and abused by more than one government. Christians, one would think, would be hip to the game by now. Ah well … there’s always the prophets (Jeremiah 2:19-25). :)
