Yeah, I think they were talking about a specific bread of mega-church. Bell doesn’t quite fit this mega-church model, save the number of people gathered. I’d venture to say that Mars Hill (Michigan) is theologically moderate and socially liberal, at least in comparison to the boomer version of the mega-church. Driscoll may fit it more than most, though he has somehow reached the younger crowds.

The mega-churches are aging… even though the likes of Rob Bell, Driscol and others seem to keep the mega-church thing going.
