I have no less than eight books sitting on my desk waiting to be reviewed. These books have been sent to me by publishers and/or web marketers specifically for review on Tribe. So, expect a flurry of reviews as I work hard to read and review each of these works over the next two weeks or so. Expect serious reviews for the following titles: Life After Church, by Sanders; Consuming Jesus, by Metzger; Take This Bread, by Miles; The End of Religion, by Cavey; Rising from the Ashes, by Garrison; Surprised by Hope, by N.T. Wright; Thank God for Evolution, by Dowd; Speaking of Faith, by Tippett. Stay tuned!

Say, how does one get in the good graces of these web marketers/publishers? Man I’d love to read and review these books on my blog… If only they knew of my zeal!
Hey, Jake. I’m working on putting something together for members of Scribe. I have been swamped with real-time activity w/ ministry and family, so it’s taking a bit longer to get on it than I expected. We’ll get there, hopefully.
Most of these web marketers/publishers contacted me. In fact, all of them did so. So, I’m not sure how one gets the ball rolling initially. That said, now that I have a line to some of these folks, I’m going to suggest a program with members of The Daily Scribe.
Awesome.
I’m interested in hearing what you have to say about Cavey’s “End of Religion.” I finished it up a few weeks ago and didn’t feel like it brought anything too great to the table.
Anyways, looking forward to your thoughts.
Hi, Matt. I’m finishing up Tippett’s book, then I’ll grab that one next. It’ll be cool to compare notes.
