Hello, Bob. You are misreading the word "sharp," in the above. Sharp, as in, "bitting" or "intense," rather than "Clearly defined; not ambiguous." The word was directed at D'Souza's description of Dawkins being "caught by Stein with his pants down." I think you'd agree it is a "sharp" statement, right? Right.

Now then, beyond that, and the title of D'Souza's article (which was in poor taste, I'll agree), D'Souza offers really good commentary on the Stein/Dawkins exchange. D'Souza offers neither a predictable, nor a self-promoting spin in either article, at least not from my vantage point. So, I don;t think your review is all that dependable, to be honest.

May I ask, which side of this debate are you living on? Are you an atheist or a theist?

Thanks for the comment and concern. I hope I have clarified the use of the word "Sharp" for you.

What was so "sharp" about D'Souza's final paragraph in Atheist Bashing Week, or anything that he said at all? He put a predictable, self-promoting spin on a topic in which he's too immersed to be regarded as a reliable source. Shawn, you are too easily impressed by this article, which leads one to believe that you are not a reliable reviewer, either. Indeed, there must be a response to anyone who so publicly and stridently asserts their views on religion, as Dawkins and Hitchens do, but the answer has to be equally measured and based on dispassionate analysis. Otherwise, it turns into the debate equivalent of a professional wrestling match, of which I am truly sick.
