New Blog Design with 100% more Monk

I used my free time on my days off to re-skin my blog. Notes: 1. For this theme, I quit IE6. I don’t care about IE6. 2. I’m not finished. I’ll be tweaking the design as time goes on, and permits. 3. This design comes with 100% more monk. He’ll spit out wise sayings, for your consumption. So, say hello to Monk.

I seem to remember Monk from an earlier internet life, say about 5 years ago :)

@Will: Thanks, bro. I still have a bunch of tweaking to do, but it’s a start … I’m not so sure if I am “back at it” yet, life is very busy as of late! :)

@Wes: Nope. There may have been an earlier version of a monk somewhere along the line, but this monk is brand new. Hope all is well, bro.

I know what you mean about being busy! There just isn’t enough time in the day.

Hey, look at that! Very cool concept man. I like the monk piece. I like the paper and lines style too.

@Justin: Thanks, man. It’s my way of messing around with what little knowledge I have for this stuff. It’s a great distraction.

I learned the nav technique by studying your work on the church site. :) I have been using css image replacement for the header image, for SEO for some time now, but never considered using it for the navigation, until I looked under the hood of the IMG site.
